Created on October 1991 under the direction of the Ven Thich Thien Nghi who teachs over 10 courses on Buddhism and the Rev. Quang Oanh, professor and responsible of the scholar program. The program is very rigourous and rules severe. The study hours are established from 8h to 10h AM and from 2h to 4h PM. Early in the morning, the chimes of bells wake up all novices. After the beating of gong and the meditation period, they accomplish the first religious service. The chants of mantras and the readings of sutras resonate to the darkness forest and wake up the mystic world and the Sangha community. After, the novices should study, then come up the diner hour, the time for the beating of gong et the meditation, religious services time, "Pure Land" practice time... The scholar program of the institute is well structured and the novice monks and nuns are very laborious. Should they become all exemplar masters, after 10 years of study.
